Hi, I'm Gary and I'm a football fan from Northants, England who moved to Nova Scotia in 2016. I've been following the development of the CanPL and HFX Wanderers FC since I arrived and can't wait for next spring's season to start.

 

This blog is born out of a desire to somehow cram slightly more football into my life. The name From Aways is a nod to the club's 'Together, From Aways' motto and a suitable one for myself personally, because I am very much 'from aways'.

Come kick-off time, you'll find me among friends in Block 105, ready to support the team. This blog will be a mixture of news, opinion and eventually some additional media such as podcasts and videos. For now though, I hope you enjoy.
